Earlier we acknowledged National Sorry Day with the Teralba Park Stolen Generations Support Group Inc.

We remembered the Stolen Generations – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who were forcibly removed from their families, communities and cultures.

We drew inspiration from the strength and resilience of survivors, families and communities.

Queensland must continue the work of truth-telling, healing and reconciliation, including progressing the calls of the Uluru Statement from the Heart, because we cannot move forward without acknowledging our history.
