Did you know this amazing historical 9th Battalions War Memorial Museum is located here in Enoggera?

I was amazed at the history on display. Run by the 9th Battalions Association, the museum collects and displays histories and artefacts from all Australia’s various 9th Battalions.

The original 9th Battalion was formed in 1867. The 9th was also one of the first onto the beach at Gallipoli and later served on the Western Front.

Today, the amalgamated 8th/9th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment is based at Enoggera Barracks as part of 7th Brigade – Australian Army.

The Museum is open Wednesdays from 8:00am till 1:00pm with tours available on request. Why not book a visit to this hidden local gem today?
