My office has been informed Fire Ant suppression activities are continuing in the Ferny Grove Electorate.
Fire Ants are everyone’s responsibility, so if you see one, don’t touch it or attempt to destroy the nest. Call 132 ANT (13 22 68) to report it immediately.

Other parts of the state are receiving transition activities to the eradication phase, but, I am disappointed to report we appear to have missed out.
When Labor was in government we provided $37 million to the Fire Ant Suppression Taskforce whereas the Crisafulli LNP government has only provided $24 million.
